About

My crustacean journey started during my undergraduate degree when I learned how much effort truly goes in to the getting a lobster from the ocean to your plate.

I decided I wanted to learn everything I could about the lobster supply chain and see if there were ways that I could help to improve it.

From the development of new technology to care and handling of lobster, I have found a passion in uniting research with fishers to ensure that meaningful results come from the work I do.

My career in crustacean fisheries would not be possible without the supervisors, mentors and fishers who I have been able to work with and I am thankful for each and every one of you.
