The first day of satellite tagging was yesterday, January 9, for 2023! We had great success with tagging 4 berried females and 4 non-berried females off of Campobello Island. Hopefully we will have two more tagging days coming up from Grand Manan and Southwest Nova Scotia.

Here you can see the final four lobster waiting patiently to be released. The bands are removed prior to release and are only kept on for my safety while tags are attached. The lobster were released once work on the deck had stopped to ensure both my own personal safety as well as the crews.
